Jon Davis Harvill II, b. 1964,
Based in Atlanta, Georgia, USA
Jon was born in 1964, near the end of the Baby Boomer Generation, as the first son of middle class yuppies from Birmingham, Alabama.
Well educated parents and military brat beginnings, Jon lived in 13 states before he was 13 (a typical JD'ism, meaning an appropriate exaggeration).
Jon was an introvert who had no idea that he was an introvert, as he was a cocky know it all who charmed the pants off everyone, but didn't really trust that he would be around long enough to be caught at his fibs.
Jon loved movies, storytelling, and theater with a passion, but never really believed in the value of his own truths. This was the result of his lack of role models as a gay youth in the 70's.
Now thirty years later, JD (his new iteration) is making up for lost time by trying to get his truths into every piece of art that he creates.
As a WRITER, J. Davis Meadows creates stories about miscommunication and self deception.
As an ARTIST, JD Harvill paints and draws stories of polyamory and self deception.
As a PHOTOGRAPHER, JD captures the truth about people when their backs are turned, or at least they aren't posing.
As a FILM MAKER, J. Davis Harvill, as a cinematographer and editor, helps tells collaborative stories about people who don't collaborate well.
